STELLA

MEET STELLA

Stella has a special connection to animals (and ocean life, especially stingrays and manta rays). She loves to be outside in nature. She dreams of swimming with stingrays.

Stella is highly sensitive to the energies around her, and often uses her creative imagination as a coping skill.  When Stella is upset, she reaches for a pen and paper to draw, or plays freely in her mud kitchen in the backyard.  Art calms her, and gives her an outlet to express her strong and intense emotions.  Stella has always been a high-energy child.  Her art teacher calls her an “action artist,” because of her desire to move while she creates.

Pastella is her nickname, because she loves working with chalk pastels.

Stella’s favorite place to go after school is her backyard mud kitchen.  She loves to make various concoctions with mud, and likes to pretend she has her own Food Network television show that revolves around mud creations.

Stella dreams of becoming a fairy.  She has amazing imagination, and at night she dreams of going to a place called “Fairy Island.” She has also been making fairy doors using scrap wood and materials.

When she wants to make art, Stella loves to say, “I feel so inspired!”
